Of Bulls And Suits Of Light
Bullfighting is part of the Spanish culture.
This tour will take you behind the scenes of this controversial sport, but you will NOT assist in a bullfight event.
Accompanied by our family-friendly, fully licensed guide, you will discover the arena of Las Ventas and what it looks like backstage. Our guide will tell you all about the magnificent suits of light that the matadors wear during the bullfighting show, as well as all the characteristics of this Spanish tradition.
Once you and your children have seen the arena, it is time to head out to Madrid’s countryside (20 minute drive) and visit a special area where young matadors train to become the future stars of Spain. This includes a museum of one of Spain’s most famous bullflighter, “El Juli”, and a demonstration of the bullfighting techniques on fake bulls by a young matador.
And to top it all off, your children will be able to experience all this and get a bit of training from the bullfighter himself. A hands-on experience they will never forget.
At the end, our chauffeur will bring you back to the center of Madrid.
