A Post-Impressionist Art Experience
Get inspired by the beauty of Provence’s outdoors and spend a wonderful family-bonding moment painting in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, just like Van Gogh.
After spending some time in Arles, Van Gogh moved to Saint Paul de Mausole, an asylum nearby the town of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. There, the master of Post-Impressionism painted profusely everything he saw, from the interiors of the asylum to its gardens and olive tree fields.
Just like Vincent Van Gogh, head outside and let your imagination run free to describe your feelings with paint. For this, you will be accompanied by a private experienced art teacher. After going through a bit of technical instructions, and after admiring the outdoor surroundings you are in, just follow the instructions of your teacher and let your creative painting instincts lead the way.
Van Gogh’s painting was all about translating emotions and feelings onto the canvas, using only colors and brush strokes. Without necessarily copying the style of Van Gogh, you and your children will all try to express the emotions you feel as you are painting outdoor, in the beautiful Provence region.
Everyone gets to take back their Post-Impressionist masterpiece at the end of this fun-filled family-bonding workshop.
