Become A Glass Artist In Murano
Discover the excitement and joy of creating your own glass decoration in a charming private workshop in Murano, an island famed for its glass masterpieces.
Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be a real glass artist and make your own glass decorations?
When it comes to glass, there is just no better place in the world than Murano, an island in the Venetian lagoon that has been creating extraordinary works of glass for many centuries.
Located in a quiet place in Murano, away from the crowded touristic areas of the island, you will enjoy a 2 hour private glass making workshop. The workshop itself is a small, quaint little atelier, with a charm far superior than the all too busy and touristic glass factories of the island. There, you will meet your private expert glass maker.
After a few instructions and safety tips, it will be your turn to create colorful glass tiles. You can do what you want, but for a perfect Venetian souvenir, you might want to recreate an iconic Venetian element such as St. Mark’s Campanile or a winged lion! During this workshop, our expert glass maker will teach you all the techniques, but will also perform a demonstration of glass blowing. You will even get a chance to experience first hand what glass blowing is all about.
Because glass has to cook for at least 24 hours, we will deliver your creations to your hotel in Venice on the next day. Shipment directly to your home can also be arranged (additional costs apply).
Become a Glass Artist in Murano is the perfect combination of fun, entertainment and education in a safe and charming environment. A perfect way for you and your children to dive into the history and secrets of this traditional Murano craft.
