Big Ben at nightWelcome to London! Your chauffeur will be awaiting you at the train station or airport, and drive you to your hotel or apartment in a family-friendly vehicle, fully equipped to ensure you and your kids’ safety and comfort.

It is essential for anyone coming to London for the first time to kick off a sightseeing tour with the London Eye, the city’s giant Ferris wheel. From here, your guide will show the city’s major sights, before you and your family all hop aboard a boat for a cruise along the Thames River.

Once under way, your personal guide will tell you all about the iconic monuments you will be able to see from the river. You will step off  right next to the Millennium Bridge and take a short walk from the Tate Modern to the epic St Paul’s Cathedral. The tour will finish up on a roof-top terrace from where you will enjoy one of London’s most breath-taking views.

At the end of this 2-hour tour, you can spend a bit more time exploring St Paul’s. A climb up to the dome is highly recommended for a different perspective on the inside of the cathedral as well as outside.

Your driver will then take you back to your hotel or apartment.

Day 2 – A Royal Experience and All Things Chocolate

westminster abbey facadeFirst up: a trip to Westminster Abbey! Here you’ll have the chance to learn all about the Queen and the Royal Family, and step into the shoes of Kate and William on their Wedding Day at the Abbey.

Don’t forget to catch a glimpse of the guards outside Buckingham Palace – will they be on foot or mounted? Your guide will share lots of interesting stories about the four living generations of the British monarchy, from Queen Elizabeth down to Baby George.

In the afternoon, your private chauffeur will take you to our chocolate workshop.

Our friendly Master Chocolatier will meet you and tell you everything there is to know about chocolate in London, from its origins and the rise of the city’s Cocoa Houses, to how Cadbury made the UK public fall in love with his goodies. Once the exiting explanations are over, the spotlight will be on you: prepare, cut, dip and decorate your yummy handmade choccies!

At the end of this activity, you’ll have some time off to spend at leisure.

Day 3 – British Museum and Detective for the Day

Little Girl at the British MuseumAfter breakfast, your driver will pick you up from your hotel or apartment and take you to the British Museum, renowned for its magnificent collection and modern design.

Let’s start with a game! This will involve solving clues about the museum’s most valuable exhibits: the Egyptian mummies and the Rosetta Stone. The British Museum holds the world’s largest collection of Ancient Egyptian artefacts outside of Egypt. After this leap back in time, you will also explore the ruins of the Parthenon to solve some more riddles… a fascinating way to unearth the enigma of humankind!

What next? Let’s hope you can outsmart Sherlock Holmes… Our driver will bring you to a crime scene…

Once there, you will become members of a special police team. Using modern forensic techniques at your availability, you will work to reach the bottom of this criminal case! Fingerprints, magnifying glasses and footprints… all of these will be essential to catch the murderer! A real Scotland Yard detective will be there with you and your family to help you with your investigation.

By the time your driver brings you back to your hotel or apartment, you will have solved the second riddle of the day…

Day 4 – Tower of London

Your guide will meet you there to tell you all about this medieval building, which is such an important part of  London’s landscape. It holds many valuable objects from centuries ago, and has played many different roles, from royal palace to terrifying prison. You will also see the Crown Jewels with their 23,578 glittering gems.

Your private chauffeur will then drive you to the train station where you will hop on the Eurostar to cross the Channel.

Bienvenue à Paris! In Paris, an English-speaking chauffeur will be waiting for you upon arrival. Again, his car will be fully fitted with the correct seats for your kids, guaranteeing a smooth and comfortable transfer to your hotel or apartment.

Your private, certified guide will make sure that you get the perfect introduction to the City of Lights. For a full two hours, you will enjoy a exciting commentary about Paris as you sweep past the Arc de Triomphe, the Opéra, the Louvre, the Invalides, the Champs Elysées, and much more. Something your kids will enjoy as well.

In the afternoon, you will meet up with a qualified and friendly French teacher for a fantastic private beginner’s French lesson. This is a great activity to start your holidays in France. Playful, lively and anchored around typical Parisian vocabulary and expressions, the lesson will let both parents and children put their new skills into practice throughout the rest of the trip.

Once this entertaining lesson comes to an end, our driver will take you back to your hotel or apartment for some leisure time.

Day 6 – The Da Vinci Code Tour and Paris Behind the Lens

da vinci code tour saint sulpiceAfter eating a delicious breakfast (think croissants and other traditional French pastries), your private chauffeur will take you to the Panthéon, a huge building in the heart of the Latin Quarter.

Once you have met our professional guide, he will introduce the next fun-packed activitiy: our Da Vinci Code tour. Seek out clues and solve riddles as you walk around the Jardin du Luxembourg, Saint Sulpice and Saint Germain des Prés. Will you manage to crack the code? This privately guided walk includes tickets to the Panthéon as well as a notebook with all the riddles and games inside.

After lunch, you will head to the Jardin des Tuileries to team up with our professional photographer for a highly entertaining activity called Paris behind the lens.

Learn all the ins and outs of this iconic and oh-so-Parisian art form, before each family member gets their own SLR camera to take portraits and snaps of the beautiful Parisian architecture. What a wonderful opportunity to return home not only with happy memories, but perfect pictures too!

At the end of the activity, your private chauffeur will drive you back to your hotel or apartment.

Day 7 – Louvre Treasure Hunt and Art Workshop

Winged Victory of Samothrace - LouvreThis morning you’re in for a real, unforgettable treat: a treasure hunt at the Louvre.

At this world-famous museum, our guide will get you started on the scavenger hunt. We know museums can be a challenge for kids, so we’ve designed a tour with fun games and surprises. Our guides are specially trained to supervise kids and keep them engaged.

Over the course of two hours, the whole family will have plenty of fun while learning loads of interesting facts! For each piece of art, your guide will give an introduction. The kids will have to listen carefully as clues to solve the riddles in their game booklets will be given. But the real aim is to find that treasure, which should normally reveal itself at the end. This private guided walk includes express queue tickets to the Louvre, an entertaining notebook and a surprise treasure.

After a free lunch, you will meet your private art instructor for an exclusive painting class. During this cultural art workshop, which takes place in a real studio, you will build on what you discovered at the Louvre and use your new-found creative talents to “revisit” the iconic works you saw there.

The aim of this workshop is to enjoy a memorable and special experience while creating your very own masterpiece… a unique family-made souvenir to take back home.

Then, it’s back to your hotel or apartment for a nice, relaxing evening.

Day 8 – Montmartre and Creating your own Perfume

small girl smelling perfumeToday’s activities will start at the foot of the hill leading up to Montmartre, one of the most charming Parisian neighborhoods.

There you will meet our professional guide and start discovering the charms of this once self-sufficient village. Before 1860, there were mills, vineyards, churches, a cemetery, and several cabarets. All of this is still visible, which makes it a truly unique area in the French capital city! The game booklet for this two hour tour is full of fun facts and riddles that the children will have to solve to lead the way to the following interesting curiosity.

This walking tour also includes a visit to the Montmartre museum, a quaint off-the-beaten-path museum with a very nice garden.

And for the afternoon? You’ll become professional parfumeurs for a day, enjoying a hands-on workshop where you will discover the secrets of the French art of making perfume (parfumerie). After blind sampling the different scents, you will choose your favorites and mix them to create your very own perfume to bring home.

At the end of the activity, your private chauffeur will drive you to your hotel or apartment.

Day 9 – Fencing Masterclass

fencing masterclass in the loire riverThis morning is the day you will start discovering the Loire Valley.

What better way to discover the “Garden of France” than to spend an afternoon with a fencing master in a sixteenth-century château? Your teacher has trained up several Olympics teams, so no doubt he will have plenty of special tips to help you excel at this sport – or should we say art? Each member of the family will be fully kitted out for this private lesson. A visit to the unique fencing museum next door is also possible to expand your swordsmanship knowledge and hear anecdotes about armour, musketeers and duelling.

At the end of the activity, your private chauffeur will drive you to your hotel or apartment in Amboise.

Day 10 – Chenonceau and the World of Da Vinci

chateau de chenonceauAfter breakfast, you’ll be taken to Château de Chenonceau to meet up with your guide again.

It is an exceptional site not only on account of its original design and the richness of its collections, furniture and decorations, but also because of its story… It was loved, administrated and protected by women, all of whom were extraordinary characters that have – in some way – made their mark on French history.

At the end of the visit, your private chauffeur will drive you back to Amboise for lunch and a walk around the city’s historic center.

In the afternoon, your guide will take you to the former house of Leonardo Da Vinci – Clos Lucé – and of course its famous garden, which is full of Leonardo’s extraordinary inventions.

Immerse yourself in the world of Leonardo Da Vinci, hunting for clues and solving riddles as you walk around the rooms of Clos Lucé. Will you be able to crack the code? We will provide you with tickets, interactive notebooks and even a gift at the end.

At the end of your tour, your chauffeur will take you back to your hotel or apartment.

Day 11 – Chambord

chateau de chambordAfter breakfast, it’s time for another Loire valley gem: the Chateau de Chambord.

This house once belonged to François I, and you’ll have the chance to learn all about its secret history with your guide. It has many treasures, including a double helix staircase, impressive fireplaces and stunning terraces…

At the end of the tour, your private chauffeur will drive you back to Paris in time to catch your flight or train.
