Itinerary

Day 1 – An Adventure on the Thames River

tower bridge in londonWelcome to London! Our English-speaking chauffeur will wait for you at the train station or airport. He will drive you to your hotel or serviced apartment in a car fully equipped for your kids’ safety. You will then discover your British home and the little surprises we prepared in your room.

Our private chauffeur will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the London Eye. Our private guide will be waiting for you to jump aboard a traditional Thames Clipper.

It would be unthinkable to come to London for the first time and not cruise along the River Thames – the life’s blood of London. After a long journey, there’s nothing better than getting out in the fresh air with our unique cruise on the majestic River Thames. Your private and experienced guide will keep you and your children’s attention and eyes glued to the riverbank, all the while informing and entertaining the whole family.

After the boat tour, you will enjoy a short walk with your guide and cross the Thames on the Millennium bridge from the Tate modern to Saint Paul’s cathedral. The tour end on the rooftop terrace with a very nice view on the cathedral and its surroundings.

At the end of this memorable experience, our private chauffeur will drive you back to your hotel. We will provide you with some recommendations of children-friendly restaurants within walking distance from your hotel.

Day 2 – A Royal Experience and Street Art Extravaganza

children spraypainting streetart londonAfter your breakfast, our private chauffeur will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Buckingham Palace where you will meet your guide for our A Royal Experience tour.

You will learn everything about the Queen and follow in the footsteps of Kate and William on their Wedding Day by visiting Westminster Abbey. You will also have a chance to admire the guards outside Buckingham Palace – will they be on foot or on horseback? Hear lots of stories about the four living generations of the Monarchy, from Queen Elizabeth II down to Baby George.

You will then reach Shoreditch, in the East End London. Formerly a predominantly working class area, Shoreditch has been transformed over the last few years. It now houses many Art galleries, media businesses and it is world-famous for its street art masterpieces. You will meet a street artist and experience a 1-hour tour around London’s East End to give you a feel of the different shapes and styles street art can take. Then it‘s time to try out spray painting yourselves (legally of course!), creating your own family masterpiece.

After your visit our private chauffeur will drive you back to your hotel.

Day 3 – A Full Day in Cambridge

cambridge with puntingAfter breakfast, our private chauffeur will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the train station. You will take the train to Cambridge, only 45 minutes away from London, and spend the day there on your own (no guide).

In the morning, you will visit this beautiful city and its many beautiful colleges, which can all be visited on foot. These colleges include Peterhouse College, Pembroke College, Queen’s College, Corpus Christi College and Trinity College. You will also discover the Bridge of Sighs of St John’s College.

After lunch, it will be time to participate in a very traditional local activity: punting on the River Cam. The river is 40 miles long and runs through the heart of the city, thus offering incredible views you’ll not find while exploring on foot.

After this wonderful experience, you will be taken to a fudge manufacturer, where you will be able to taste this local specialty. This fudge tasting experience will be followed by the 5:30pm choirs in the beautiful chapel of King’s College.

After a quick train ride back to London, our chauffeur will drive you back to the hotel.

Day 4 – Royal Childhood in Kensington

Our guide will lead you from the alleys of Kensington Gardens to the corridors of Kensington Palace. Along the way, you will discover how the royal children used to live and play around these parts. From Queen Victoria and her doll house to Baby George and Princess Diana’s wish to turn Kensington Gardens into the perfect playground, children have always been the ones reigning in and around Kensington Palace. Now it’s your turn! A lovely walk during which you will learn as much as you will play!

After this funny tour back to childhood, our chauffeur will drive you to the airport or train station.
