Day 1 – An air-conditioned sightseeing tour of Rome
Benvenuto a Roma! Our English-speaking chauffeur will wait for you at the airport and drive you to your family friendly boutique hotel / apartment in a comfortable minivan, fully equipped for your children’s safety. Gifts and surprises await in your room…
After lunch, our English speaking and certified guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a 2 hour wonderful city tour. Our guide will tell you all about the secrets of the city as you drive by some of the most iconic monuments of Rome. With the heat outside, it’s better to be in an air-conditioned mini van!
Along the way, you will see some of the city’s most iconic historical sites: the Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, along with other exciting curiosities. Not only will your guide give you an insight on the city’s history and architecture, he/she will also entertain your children with amazing fun-facts and captivating stories… The game book will also keep this Rome Sightseeing Tour snappy and up tempo for your children.
At the end of this memorable experience, our private chauffeur will drive you back to your hotel.
Day 2 – Exploring the Vatican and Learning How to Make Ice Cream
After breakfast, our chauffeur will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the smallest country in the world: the Vatican.
The Vatican is already a mesmerizing place to visit for children, but our guide will turn it into a fun-packed experience with games and clues to solve along the way. You will witness some incredible works of art and get a close look at some of theVatican’s most famous highlights, including the famous Popemobile. Meeting face to face with the marble heroes in the Candelabra Galley as well as priceless tapestries and wonderful ancient maps are also part of this enchanting tour. And last but not least, you’ll get to admire Michelangelo’s famous paintings inside the Sistine Chapel and understand how he managed to paint this in only 4 years. The tour ends in Saint Peter’s Basilica where even adults will feel small.
We will provide you with some recommendations of children-friendly restaurants within walking distance of your hotel.
After lunch, our private chauffeur will take you to a traditional gelateria for your ice-cream making initiation. During this interactive workshop, you will learn everything you need to know about Italian ice-cream and make your very own delicious flavor! In one hour, you will have all the knowledge to impress your friends back home!
Day 3 – A Full Day in Tivoli
After breakfast, you will meet your certified guide in the lobby of your hotel and our chauffeur will drive you to the famous and beautiful Villa d’Este in Tivoli.
This incredible place is considered as the masterpiece of Italian Renaissance Gardens. The Villa d’Este has even been listed as a World Heritage site by Unesco as this site has played an important role in the history of Rome. You will enjoy an interactive and fun-filled tour of Villa d’Este with our private guide. Your children will have the opportunity to learn about the history, the heritage and the influence that this garden style had throughout Europe, and still have a lot of fun thanks to the fun facts given by our guide. You will be totally astonished with its impressive concentration of fountains, grottoes, and water installations.
We will give you recommendations for family-friendly restaurants in the area
After lunch, our guide will take you to Villa Gregoriana, also located in Tivoli. This beautiful park consists mainly of thick woodlands with paths that lead to the caves of Neptune and the Sirens, which form part of a series of gorges and cascades, and to the Great Waterfall. The game booklet will keep the kids entertained, and the shadows and cascades cool the warm summer air.
After this refreshing and unique experience, our chauffeur will drive you back to the hotel.
Day 4 – Becoming a Gladiator
After breakfast, our chauffeur will drive you next to our gladiator training school.
What kid has never dreamed of becoming a real gladiator? You will meet our gladiator teacher at an exclusive gladiator school, where you will enjoy a 2-hour private one-on-one family gladiator training session. Start off with a great introduction at the gladiator museum to better understand the history of this tradition. Then, it will be time for each member of the family to dress up in a gladiator suit.
After this fun-packed activity, our chauffeur will drive you to the airport or train station.
