Day 1 – Rome Sightseeing Tour
Benvenuto a Roma! Our English-speaking chauffeur will wait for you at the airport and drive you to your family friendly boutique hotel / apartment in a comfortable minivan, fully equipped for your children’s safety. Gifts and surprises await in your room…
After lunch, our chauffeur will pick you up at your hotel and drive you through the streets of Rome for a wonderful city tour. Our English speaking and certified guide will tell you all about the secrets of the city as you drive by some of the most iconic monuments of Rome.
Along the way, you will see the ancient city’s most iconic historical sites: the Spanish steps, Piazza Navona, Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, Saint Peter’s Basilica along with other exciting curiosities. Not only will your guide give you an insight on the city’s history and architecture, he/she will also entertain your children with amazing fun-facts and captivating stories… The game book will also keep this Rome Sightseeing Tour snappy and up tempo for your chidren. At the end of this introductory experience, our private chauffeur will drive you back to your hotel.
Day 2 – The Colosseum, Ancient Rome and a Gladiator Training Session
After breakfast, our chauffeur will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the impressive Colosseum where you will meet our experienced guide!
During this fun and educational tour, your family will learn everything there is to know about a gladiators’ life and their fighting techniques, as well as the power of the senators and emperors of Ancient Rome. The children will have a highly entertaining game booklet to help them better understand Rome’s past and present. After visiting the Colosseum, you will enjoy a trip to the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, within waking distance.
After the visit, you will enjoy a tasty Italian lunch in the area. After lunch, our chauffeur will drive you next to the via Appia Antica in our gladiator training school.
What kid has never dreamed of becoming a real gladiator? You will meet our gladiator teacher at an exclusive gladiator school, where you will enjoy a 2-hour private one-on-one family gladiator training session. Start off with a great introduction at the gladiator museum to better understand the history of this tradition. Then, it will be time for each member of the family to dress up in a gladiator suit.
At the end of this unforgettable experience our chauffeur will drive you back to your hotel.
Day 3 – Exploring the Vatican
After breakfast, our chauffeur will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the smallest country in the world: the Vatican.
The Vatican is already a mesmerizing place to visit for children, but our guide will turn it into a fun-packed experience with games and clues to solve along the way. You will witness some incredible works of art and get a close look at some of the Vatican’s most famous highlights, including the famous Popemobile. Meeting face to face with the marble heroes in the Candelabra Galley as well as priceless tapestries and wonderful ancient maps are also part of this enchanting tour. And last but not least, you’ll get to admire Michelangelo’s famous paintings inside the Sistine Chapel and understand how he managed to paint this in only 4 years. The tour ends in Saint Peter’s Basilica where even adults will feel small.
At the end of the visit our chauffeur will drive you back to the hotel. Time then for a quick lunch before leaving to the airport and saying Ciao to the wonderful city of Rome!
