You will witness some incredible works of art and get a close look at some of the Vatican’s most famous highlights, including the famous Popemobile. Meeting face to face with the marble heroes in the Candelabra Galley as well as priceless tapestries and wonderful ancient maps are also part of this enchanting tour. And last but not least, you’ll get to admire Michelangelo’s famous paintings inside the Sistine Chapel and understand how he managed to paint this in only 4 years. The tour ends in Saint Peter’s Basilica where even adults will feel small.
After the visit, you will enjoy a tasty Italian lunch in the area. After lunch, our chauffeur will drive you in a real roman mosaic workshop.
During 2 hours, you will experience the wonderful Italian art of mosaic design. During a private lesson with our professional art teacher, you will learn the ancient art of mosaic-making. Following an introductory lesson about the techniques of Roman mosaics, you will practice the principles of texture, composition and marble tile cutting, before making your own mosaic that you will even get to take back home.
