Description

Meet your private, fully-licensed guide and your private chauffeur at your hotel in Barcelona and hop into a luxurious Mercedes minivan to reach Figueres.

After a 1 hour and 45 minute drive, you will reach the home town of one Spain’s most famous painter and artist: Salvador Dali. Besides visiting the town, you will get to discover the Dali Museum, which houses a collection of paintings and sculptures of the artist. It is also his final resting place as he is buried under the stage of the theater.

After lunch, your guide will take you to at least 2 beautiful medieval villages located in the region. Villages such as Perratallada are full of charm and the history and stories about these towns will keep both you and your children engaged!

At the end of the day, the guide and driver will bring you back to your hotel in Barcelona.

Is this a private activity?
It sure is. Your family members will be the only ones participating in this tour. There will be other people visiting the Dali museum and the villages of the Costa Brava as it is not made private for your family while you are there though.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you choose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a baby sitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
How long does it take to drive to Figueres from Barcelona?
It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to drive from Barcelona to the Dali Museum in Figueres.
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
It is a long day, and there is quite a lot of driving, so we recommend this tour for kids aged 6 or older, but our family-friendly guide will be able to adapt to younger children if necessary.
