Meet your private, experienced guide and follow them through the beautiful Louvre museum in search of 9 of its most famous highlights.

During this specially-designed experience for teenagers, you and your family will discover masterpieces such as the Mona Lisa, the Venus de Milo and the Winged Victory of Samothrace (Nike) in a very engaging and entertaining way.

Our guide will tell you all the fun facts related to these highlights, as well as stories about the Middle Ages, the Italian Renaissance and objects even dating as far back as Ancient Egypt.

For each piece of art, our guide will give an artistic introduction and then you will have to solve the different riddles. With the answers in hand, the cryptex will open!

 

Meeting Point: In front of the State Council building (Conseil d’Etat), opposite the Louvre on 1 place du Palais Royal.

FAQ's

Is this tour private?
Yes, it is. No one else will be joining your private tour, and you will have your own private guide throughout the visit. However, there will be other people visiting the museum at the same time.
When is the best time to visit the Louvre?
During the summer season and special holidays, there is no best time, as the Louvre is always very crowded, especially in front of the Mona Lisa and other iconic highlights.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you choose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a babysitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
Will we have to wait in line?
We provide skip-the-line tickets, but on very busy days, there might be a line for security checks which cannot be avoided. The wait should not last long though.
Once the tour is finished, can we stay inside the museum or go back in?
Of course, you are free to stay inside the museum if you wish to continue exploring it once the tour is finished. Our tour cannot cover the whole collection, so we highly recommend staying a while longer. Exploring the Egyptian department is always fascinating for children. If you exit the building, you can no longer get back in.
Can I bring a stroller or a wheelchair?
Yes, the Louvre museum is wheelchair friendly and there are elevators to bring disabled people to the upper floors. However, the itinerary will be modified, and this might take a bit more time. Strollers are tolerated, but if the child can walk, then you will have to leave the stroller at the cloakroom.
Will my teenage kids like the tour?
Sure they will! It is a dedicated tour for families with teenagers with a more challenging treasure hunt than our classical Treasure Hunt At The Louvre.
