Description

Inspired by the best seller (but you do not need to have read the book to enjoy this tour!), our Cracking The Da Vinci Code tour is a privately-guided walking tour that will take you through some of the most beautiful monuments and areas of the Saint Germain district in Paris.

Meet your private, fully-licensed guide in front of the massive Pantheon and follow them as they take you inside what is now the final resting place for the great men and women of France, including Victor Hugo, Marie Curie and Voltaire.

The walking tour continues through the beautiful Luxembourg Gardens, a public park originally designed for children by Napoleon, towards Saint Sulpice Church. Believe it or not, this is the largest church in Paris. After a quick look inside (if no ceremony is held), follow your guide to Saint-Germain-des-Prés church, one of the oldest in the city.

This tour was designed for teenagers, and to keep them engaged, they will have to race against time as the fate of the world lies in their hands. A great way for them to learn about Paris’ cultural and historical heritage… with a challenge.

FAQ's

Is this tour private?
Yes, it is. No one else will be joining your private tour, and you will have your own private guide throughout the visit. However, there will be other people visiting the churches and the Pantheon at the same time.
Is there a lot of walking during the tour?
Because our tours are designed for families with children, we make sure the distances are not too long. Minimum physical effort is required so everyone can enjoy this tour.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you choose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a babysitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
The game was designed for teenagers, so it will be difficult for any child below 10 years old. If you want to bring younger kids, it is possible, but they will not get any game booklet, and the length of the walking tour (2,5 hours) might be just above what they are willing to tolerate.
Will we have to wait in line?
We will supply skip-the-line tickets which will drastically limit the time waiting in line. Security checks might cause a bit of congestion at the entrance, but that is unavoidable, and usually does not take so much time.
Can I bring a stroller or a wheelchair?
It is possible to bring a stroller or wheelchair on most part of the tour. However, it might not be possible to go down inside the crypt of the Pantheon.
What happens if it rains?
The tour will take place, even if it rains. Just make sure you bring an umbrella or rain jacket. The Pantheon, Saint Sulpice, Saint Germain des Prés are places where you can keep dry.
Will my teenage kids like the tour?
It’s designed for them, so they will love it!
