Description

Saint-Paul-de-Vence, located in the heart of the countryside of the French Riviera is a medieval village where one of the most renowned artists of the XXth century lived and worked.

Just like Little Thumb, this artist left a few stones for you and your children to follow in order to find him. But be careful, all the stones do not look alike nor have the same use! For this treasure hunt, your children will receive a game booklet that will allow them to discover the city of Saint-Paul-de-Vence in a fun way!

At the end of the game, your guide will take you to the top of the Saint-Paul-de-Vence defensive wall. There, you and your family will enjoy the wonderful view over the countryside and the Mediterranean Sea.

FAQ's

Is this tour private?
Yes, it is. No one else will be joining your private tour, and you will have your own private guide throughout the visit. However, there will be other people visiting the museum at the same time.
When is the best time to visit Saint-Paul-de-Vence?
During the summer season and special holidays, there is no best time, as Saint-Paul-de-Vence can be very crowded. The crowds are less in the winter months. In May, June or September, the weather is pleasant, and the crowds are manageable.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you choose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a babysitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
We recommend this tour for kids aged 6 or older, because they must know how to read and write in order to enjoy the fun-filled game booklet. But our family-friendly guide will be able to adapt to younger children if necessary.
Can I bring a stroller or a wheelchair?
Yes, it is possible to bring a stroller or wheelchair. Your private guide will be able to adapt the itinerary to specific needs as there are streets accessible to people with reduced mobility. Saint-Paul-de-Vence is indeed a medieval village with many cobblestone streets.
Will my teenage kids like the tour?
Of course, they will. Saint-Paul-de-Vence is an historical village, and one of the highlights teenagers will not want to miss in the French Riviera. Because it is a privately guided tour, your guide will adapt to the ages of the children and will know how to keep the teenagers engaged.
