Description
Anne Frank was a German-born Jewish girl and is one of the most emblematic victims of the Holocaust, as she acquired posthumous fame with her diary, in which she documented her life in hiding between 1942 and 1945.
Meet your private, experienced guide and your private chauffeur at your hotel and hop inside a fully-equipped electric minivan, in order to reach the house where she grew up. Your guide will tell you all about her life as a little girl in Amsterdam at that time, where she went to school and where she would play.
The tour continues with the visit of the Anne Frank House where she and her family hid from the Nazis during World War II. Tickets to the museum are included and carefully arranged in advance for your family. As the Anne Frank House often sells out weeks ahead and tickets can be difficult to secure independently, this tour offers a simple and stress-free way to experience one of Amsterdam’s most important museums. Each member of your family will receive an audio guide. Guiding inside the museum is considered rude, so your guide will be there to answer your questions and point out the most interesting details.
Afterwards, enjoy a drink at a historic local café, a meaningful pause to reflect before continuing to the final stop: the National Holocaust Names Monument, a powerful memorial honoring more than 100,000 Dutch Holocaust victims. Designed by renowned architect Daniel Libeskind, the memorial is made up of brick walls bearing thousands of names, creating a powerful and reflective place of remembrance in the heart of the city.
WARNING:
The reservations have to be made at least 2 months in advance for the Anne Frank House skip-the-line tickets. The order of the visits may be altered depending on the hour of visit of the Anne Frank Museum.
