Cycling In Old Lucca

Meet your private, fully-licensed chauffeur guide at your hotel in Florence and hop into a comfortable fully-equipped minivan to reach the small, traditional town of Lucca. After a 1-hour drive (approximately) through the beautiful landscapes of Tuscany, you and your family will reach the old city center of Lucca, still protected by the 16th century city walls.

After a quick reminder of the safety rules while cycling in the small streets of Lucca, you will all hop on your bicycles and follow your guide inside the old town for an unforgettable ride. Depending on where you will arrive, you will either start with a cycling experience on the city walls or finish with it. You and your family members will also be cycling through the narrow streets of the city to reach some of the city’s most iconic places, such as Piazza Anfiteatro, Basilica of San Frediano and the Lucca Cathedral (also known as St. Martin Cathedral), the town’s most famous church.

Another highlight is the Lucca Tower, another of the city’s recognizable towers, which you will admire from the exterior.

At the end of the cycling tour, the guide will take you back to the bicycle rental shop and drive you to your hotel in Florence.

To keep your children engaged and entertained, they will each receive a fun-filled game booklet at the start of the tour.
