Is this a private tour?
Yes, it is. No one else will be joining your private tour, and you will have your own private guide, chauffeur and minivan. There will be people visiting the gardens and the house though: do not expect to be alone there.
How long does it take to get from Paris to Giverny?
Our private chauffeur will drive you from your hotel to the town of Giverny, and from there, you will walk through the town’s small streets to get to the house and gardens. The driving part takes at least one hour (one way), and you’ll walk for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you choose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a babysitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
Young children might not find the house very interesting (although our guides have enough tricks up their sleeves to keep them engaged), but they will be able to run around and enjoy the beautiful garden. We can provide booster seats and baby seats if needed for the transfers. That said, we recommend kids to be at least 6 to really enjoy this tour.
Can we stay in Giverny a while longer, just to visit Monet’s tomb and the museum?
Of course, you can stay, but fees will apply unless you prefer to get back to Paris on your own (which can be complicated and long, especially with children). We can extend the chauffeur and guide time, but this service will be charged extra.
Will my teenage kids like the tour?
Sure they will. Our professional guide will adapt their speech to keep your teenagers engaged and entertained throughout the tour.
