Description

Meet your private, fully-licensed guide and your private chauffeur at your hotel in Naples and hop into a fully-equipped minivan to reach Piazza Municipio. From there, let your guide take you to the monumental buildings of Naples by foot. During the first part of the sightseeing tour, you will discover the exterior of architectural highlights such as the Galleria Umberto I (a magnificent shopping gallery built in 1891), the medieval Castel Nuovo and the Opera House.

You will also discover places such as the Royal Palace and the beautiful Piazza del Plebiscito, all within walking distance from the starting point, and all very iconic monuments in Naples.

From there, hop in a private, fully-equipped minivan and let your driver take you and your guide to some of the scenic spots of Naples, from where you will have the best view of the city.

The driver will first take you to Castel Sant’Elmo and then drive along the cost via the imposing Castel Dell’Ovo fortress to the lush hillside area of Posillipo.

The driver will drop you back at the hotel at the end of the tour.

Is this a private tour?
You will have a private guide AND a private chauffeur. Apart from these 2 people, no one else will be joining. This is a private tour.
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
We recommend this tour for kids aged 6 or older, because they must know how to read and write in order to enjoy the fun-filled game booklet. But our family-friendly guide will be able to adapt to younger children if necessary. Baby seats or booster seats are available at no extra charge.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you chose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a baby sitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
How long is the walking bit?
The first part of the tour is a walking tour, but all the monuments are located there or very close by. You will be standing on your feet, but there won’t be a lot of walking at all.
How much time is spent in the minivan?
The second part of the Monumental and Panoramic Naples tour is spent in the minivan (the first part is a walking tour), and a reasonable amount of time will be spent in the vehicle. There are stops along the way to get a closer look at some of the beautiful things. You can even ask to stop, and your private driver will follow your request (unless forbidden or if time is too tight).
What kind of vehicle do you use?
Our Mercedes V-class Minivans are the most comfortable minivans, fully equipped with baby seats or booster seats (if necessary), water and wifi.
Will my teenage kids like the tour?
Sure they will! They might not want to have the game booklet, but since it is a private tour, our professional guide will adapt their speech to keep your teenagers engaged and entertained throughout the tour.
