Description

If you and your children have a sweet tooth, you will love this French pastry class hands-on experience. This is your one and only chance to learn the secrets of how to make typical French pastries such as choux, éclairs and other delicious treats.

Meet your private, experienced chef in a private cooking school in the heart of Paris and let them introduce you to the delicious world of French pastries. After a short introduction on the simple rules of baking pastries, everyone will get their hands deliciously dirty!

Just follow the instruction of your chef, and during 2,5 hours, you will prepare your puffy creations.

You will be kneading the dough, adding fillings and toppings and putting them in the oven. From chocolate élairs to choux à la crème and more, French pastries will have no more secrets, and you will be able to treat your friends to these mouth-watering sweet treats back home.

At the end of the workshop, you will walk out with a bag filled with your very own self-made pastries.

FAQ's

Is this a private activity?
It sure is. Your family members will be the only ones participating in this private baking class, along with your private chef.
Do the parents participate?
Of course! Everyone will get their hands deliciously dirty.
How much food will we make?
The quantity of pastries prepared is enough for the whole family to enjoy even after the baking class.
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
It takes a bit of dexterity to get these pastries right, so we recommend not to book this activity for smaller children. Instead, our Baking Bread and Croissants hands-on workshop would be the perfect fit as it is much easier, and just as nice (and delicious).
Can you make gluten free pastries?
As long as you give us the information before hand, we will adapt the ingredients to match your food restrictions. However, they might not taste like the real “traditional French pastries” anymore.
Do we need to bring special material or ingredients?
No. All you need to bring is a big smile and the will to prepare mouth-watering pastries. We will take care of the rest.
Do we get the recipes of what we prepared?
Of course, we will send you the recipes by email once the baking class is over (this might take a few days)
Will my teenage kids like the activity?
Sure they will, but maybe it would be better to book our private Making French Macaroons class, as it will be far more challenging and interesting for teens.
