Description

How about recreating the Mona Lisa, and add your personal touch?

Meet your private, experienced art teacher at the private workshop and follow her simple instructions to recreate a replica of the Mona Lisa.

By following the instructions of your teacher, you will start creating your version of the Mona Lisa following different Art Movement like Pop Art or Classic Renaissance, or by adding a bit of your creativity and style. Once the painting will be dry, you will be able to take your designs back home.

Is this a private activity?
It sure is. Your family members will be the only ones in the art workshop, along with your private art teacher.
Do the parents participate?
Of course! Everyone will be creating their own work of art. That is the fun part!
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
Yes, even the youngest children are welcome. They might not know exactly who Van Gogh was, but they will surely have fun mixing the paint on the canvas.
Can I choose any painting I want to reproduce?
Theoretically, we designed this hands-on workshop to be an extension of our Treasure Hunt at the Louvre. So the idea is to reproduce one of the highlights that you have seen during the tour. But since art knows no boundaries, you are free to reproduce any art work you like, or even design your own!
Do I need to bring special material?
No! You do not need to bring anything as all the material is prepared for you.
Are we leaving the workshop with anything?
Of course, you will leave the workshop with your creations. We will make sure that these do not become too bulky, so you can easily put them in your suitcase when coming back home.
Will my teenage kids like the activity?
If they like arts & crafts, they will love this hands-on activity. However, if they do not care much for art, then we recommend looking at some of our other activities.
