Description

How about getting an introduction on London’s underground artistic scene, and learning how to master the art of spray-painting?

Meet your private, experienced guide (who happens to be a street artist) at the exit of Shoreditch Tube station and follow them through the streets of East London in search of the best and most impressive street art masterpieces of the area. East London is where it all happens, and since street art is more of an ephemeral artform (one day, paintings appear, and then disappear again under the work of another artist) there is always something new to see.

After a 1-hour walking tour, let your guide bring you to the workshop where your family will work on individual creations. After some quick instructions on how to use spray-paint and how to create certain effects, each member of your family will try themselves out on a wall before working on your individual masterpieces.

Once dry, these will be rolled for you to take back home.

FAQ's

Is this tour private?
Yes, it is. No one else will be joining your private tour, and you will have your own private street art guide throughout the visit. The workshop will also be private.
Is there a lot of walking during the tour?
Because our tours are designed for families with children, we make sure the distances are not too long. The walking part of this experience is only about 1 hour.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you choose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a babysitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
The minimum age for participation is 10 years old, so for ages between 5-9 the kids will do a roller paint activity instead. If the child is around 8-9 years old, they can participate in the spray painting activity under the supervision of their parent or guardian. The walking tour might not be that interesting for younger kids. So, we highly recommend not to book this activity for kids below the age of 6.
Can I bring a stroller or a wheelchair?
Technically, it is possible to bring a stroller or wheelchair. The itinerary in East London during the walking tour can be adapted, and the workshop is easily accessible if not done indoors.
What happens if it rains?
The tour will take place, even if it rains. Just make sure you bring an umbrella or a rain jacket. The workshop, although generally done outdoors, can be done indoors if the weather takes a turn for the worse.
Will my teenage kids like the tour?
They will love it! It is really cool and will give them some great Instagram moments they will be able to share on social media.
