DESCRIPTION

Meet your private, fully-licensed guide and your chauffeur at your hotel in Naples, and hop into a private, fully-equipped Mercedes V-Class minivan to reach the Amalfi coast.
After a 1.5-hour drive along the bay of Naples, and a few mountainous roads across the Lattari Mountains, you and your family will reach Ravello, a charming town perched in the mountains and offering a beautiful view on the coast. Take a walk in the pedestrian streets of the town to reach Villa Cimbrone: the terrace offers one of the most spectacular views.
After about an hour spent in Ravello, hop back inside the minivan and head out to Amalfi, the town that gave its name to the beautiful bay. Here too, you will have some time to discover the town and take a look at the highlights that have made it a UNESCO World Heritage Site. One of the visits is the Amalfi Cathedral, which holds the relics of the town’s patron saint, Saint Andrew.
Lunch is at leisure, and your guide will be able to give you some recommendations.
The last and final stop is Positano. Let your guide take you through its narrow winding pedestrian streets all the way down to the small beach while pointing out a few curiosities and telling you about the history of this hillside town. If there is time, you might want to take a swim (towels not included).
At the end of the day, the driver will take you back to your hotel in Naples.
Attention: the order of the visits might differ depending on the traffic and roads. If you wish to depart from Sorrento or any other place on the Amalfi Coast, it is possible: just ask!

FAQ's
Is this tour private?
Yes, it is. No one else will be joining your private tour, and you will have your own private guide throughout the visit, as well as a private chauffeur and minivan. However, there will be other people visiting the area, and the streets can sometimes be very crowded.
When is the best time to visit the Amalfi Coast?
There are a lot of people wanting to visit (or staying on) the Amalfi Coast in summer, so don’t expect to be on your own during the high season. Otherwise, visiting the Amalfi Coast just before or right after summer (May or September) is the best time to visit.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you choose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a baby sitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
We recommend this visit for kids aged 6 or older as it can turn out to be a long day. The streets are very hilly, and car sickness can be an issue, and apart from the beach, there is no real area where the very young children can go play.
How long will we stay in the car?
It takes about 1.5 hours to get to the Amalfi coast from Naples and the same to come back. Once on the coast, the towns are not far from each other (about 30 minutes), but traffic, especially in summer, can double the time it takes to get to the next destination.
Will we have to wait in line?
There are some sights where there might be a line (Amalfi Cathedral, Villa Cimbrone). Our guide will avoid them as much as possible, but there are no skip-the-line tickets (no internet tickets), and its generally a first come, first served basis.
Can I bring a stroller or a wheelchair?
It is possible to bring a stroller or wheelchair, but keep in mind that these towns are built on steep slopes and that it will cost you a lot of energy to go up and down the narrow winding roads.
Will my teenage kids like the tour?
Sure they will! The views are really spectacular, and the towns are really charming. It would be a pity not to see this, and although teenagers might not be overwhelmed by the Amalfi Coast in the present, they will think about it with passion when they get older.
