“I’d rather have a bad pizza from Naples than a good pizza from Milan”. The people of Naples love their pizza and have the reputation of making the best pizza in Italy.
Meet your private, experienced chef (pizzaiolo) and let them teach you how to become an expert in making great-tasting Neapolitan pizza.
In the comfort of a private cooking school located in the heart of Naples, listen to your chef while they gives you the tips, tricks and secrets to making traditional Neapolitan pizza.
From kneading the dough to working on the toppings, everyone will get their hands deliciously dirty! You’ll even learn how to toss and turn the pizza dough to make it nice and round.
But Naples also has other culinary specialties that will enchant all the members of your family. You will also be working on a “pizza Montanara”, which is a local specialty. For dessert, you will make your own traditional small yeast cake called baba (the parents will get the classic rum baba, but the children will get a sugar coating) or Graffette with Nutella.
This family-bonding activity ends with a great tasting meal, and your pizzas are on the menu!

Is this a private activity?
It sure is. Your family members will be the only ones participating in this pizza making class, along with your private chef.
Do the parents participate?
Of course! Everyone will get their hands deliciously dirty and make their own pizza and dessert.
How much food will we make?
Everyone will be making 2 pizzas (one Neapolitan pizza and one smaller Pizza Montanara), and one dessert which is generally more than enough for adults) . If adults are still hungry, they’ll be able to finish their children’s pizza!
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
Although it is better to work with kids that are 6 and older to have them really engaged in making their pasta and dessert, this activity is suitable for very young children as they can always play with the dough. They will not be tall enough to work on the table though.
Can you make gluten-free pizzas?
As long as you give us the information before hand, we will adapt the ingredients to match your food restrictions.
Do we need to bring special material or ingredients?
No. All you need to bring is a big smile and the will to prepare mouthwatering pizzas. We’ll take care of the rest.
Do we get the recipes of what we prepared?
Of course, we will send you the recipes by email once the pizza class is over (this might take a couple of days).
Will my teenage kids like the activity?
Sure they will! Who doesn’t like pizza and dessert?
