Description

Meet your private fully licensed chauffeur/guide at your hotel and hop aboard a luxurious Van to Chaumont-sur-Loire. Leave the hustle and bustle of the city for a while and enjoy a moment of peace and quiet on a private sailboat.

Meet your private, experienced captain and hop on board a charming, traditional wooden boat. Drift down the Loire River from the quaint little city of Chaumont-sur-Loire. All along this relaxing 2-hour cruise, you will see the wild banks of the river. While your children watch the beautiful countryside and enjoy a glass of fruit juice, you will be offered a glass of local wine and a “brunch” comprised of local products (bread and a cheese and cured meats platter).

This relaxing activity is the best way to take a break from all the cultural activities and enjoy a lovely family-bonding moment.

At the end of the tour, your chauffeur guide will drive you back to your hotel (if located within 1-hour from Chaumont-sur-Loire).

Yes, it is. You will have a private captain and sailboat just for your family, and no one else will be on it.
How can I get to the dock?
The transportation is included in the price of the tour.
Are the parents staying with the children or separated?
We always promote a family-bonding moment, where parents and children enjoy an activity together as a family. So, parents and children will not be separated. However, if you choose to send your children on this activity alone, it is possible, provided that a babysitter accompanies the children regardless of the age, for insurance purposes (our guides are not responsible for the children).
Is it suitable for kids under 6 years old?
Children of all ages are welcome to hop on the boat. Please note that the captain is not a babysitter so it is important that you keep and eye on your children during the cruise.
How much do we get to eat?
We will offer light snacks, and these cannot be considered as a proper meal. These snacks are not enough to replace lunch or dinner. You can come with your own food and drinks if you want.
Are there toilets on the boat?
No, this is a traditional sailboat and there are no toilets on it.
Will my teenage kids like this activity?
If they do not want to run around and prefer a laid-back experience, they will love this tour.
