Description
Anne Frank was a German-born Jewish girl and is one of the most emblematic victims of the Holocaust, as she acquired posthumous fame with her diary, in which she documented her life in hiding between 1942 and 1945.
Meet your private, experienced guide and your private chauffeur at your hotel and hop inside a fully-equipped fully equipped electric minivan, in order to reach the house where she grew up. Your guide will tell you all about her life as a little girl in Amsterdam at that time, where she went to school and where she would play.
The tour continues with the visit of the Anne Frank House where she and her family hid from the Nazis during World War II. The skip-the-line tickets will grant a quicker access to the house (although there will still be a bit of waiting in line for security – 10 to 15min max), and each member of your family will get an audio guide. Guiding inside the museum is considered rude, so your guide will be there to answer your questions and point out the most interesting details.
The next stop is a special café with a highly symbolic and historical value.
The tour ends with the visit of the Holocaust Memorial in Amsterdam (Hollandse Schouwburg), where the Nazis gathered the Jews before putting them on trains headed for the concentration camps.
WARNING:
The reservations have to be made at least 2 months in advance for the Anne Frank House skip-the-line tickets. The order of the visits may be altered depending on the hour of visit of the Anne Frank Museum.
