Cycling In Holland
Hop on a traditional Dutch bicycle and follow your private guide along the quiet, charming banks of the Amstel River, stopping for a picnic snack along the way.
Visiting Holland without ever hopping on a bicycle could only mean that you have missed one of the most amazing things to do there. Why would so many Dutch people ride bikes if it weren’t pleasant and fun?
Meet our private and experienced guide and let him/her take you for a 3 hour bicycle tour along the quiet banks of the Amstel River. Start off with a few safety rules (helmets are required for the young ones) and by adjusting your bicycle. Then, make your way to the banks using only dedicated lanes for bicycles. No need to worry about traffic here!
While on your bicycles, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful views of the Amstel River and the typical countryside landscapes in the back. There are several interesting stops along the way: a small petting zoo, a statue of Rembrandt, and of course, a traditional windmill. You will even get to cross the Amstel River on a small boat, and enjoy a small picnic snack once you reach the other side of the river.
And just to make sure the kids are kept engaged and entertained during the full duration of the bicycle tour, they will each receive fun-filled envelopes along the way with questions about what they see…
